All you acers, you should know we ve tried a lot, and in many ways, to release material
with the old setting but the rec companies wasn`t interested even
though they liked the songs. Everybody said the gap after Linn and her vocals was to big.
Now they have said we ve found it again with Julia and Clara. Isn´t that good?
Ok if you dont like it, but give it a try before you judge it.( They are so nice by the way!)
And you can allways follow Jenny
on her path anyway. Is it so bad to get more? Or something, finally?
To me it feels strange when people are complaining
about the fact that we havent released a new
album for such a long time and they blame me for that...??
Come on, I have tried so hard to make it work and to fullfill
what we ve said to you about a brand new record... Im truly sorry for that anyway.
About how much we can say now, and also could say before that in public;
Sometimes we cant write or tell things we ve promised or agreed not to tell.
Sometimes its due to timing and not ruin the impact of a new
campaign for example. Another explanation is that we dont want
to give some people ammunition so they can continue to destroy for us. Now and then.
When we play live we will do a mix of old and new songs and
of course we can do them on stage.
(Yes, I play and sing everything I do live on stage, I saw some remarks
from somebody here)
The girls, when they sing together, are by the way
sounding like Allisson Moyet in former Yazoo! -Yahoo!!!!
Julia has a fair swedish sounding voice, a bit like Linn actually, like she used to sing
in the beginning.
Ulf is in New York at the moment, doing strategic meetings so to say. I ve just came back
this morning from Stockholm where I did final touch on the production for 3 songs.
Hectic but fun. One of them is called " New Years Day" and is an uptempo popdance track.
It s brand new and a demovocalist is doing vocals on it at this moment. Normaly
I do that so the girls know how to sing it properlly, with all the "bends" and twists that
is caracteristic for us. But I have a serious cold at the moment,
so singing the vocals was impossible...
We are mixing the songs this period and half of them are mixed completely now.
We've used two Stockholm guys and they are really upcoming. So good.

Hi there Acers!
I sent a message through Ray because I have faith in him and
he has allways been a trooper for the band. Of course
I write what I want to write and nobody tells me what to do. Please dont envy Ray,
or for example Supermikey, for being such a supporter and so loyal. They,
and I guess the most of you want us to go forward so we can release the new record in this new shape.
To make something happen finally after all thoose years. I know, everything was better before
and so on, for most people, but we cant rewind time. Only in our minds, and how good
that is sometimes...
I have my idols too, and of course, the first setting of a band is allways something special
even for me.
Yes the girls are younger than us, but hey there, should they be older?
We ve choosen the two best vocalists course thats what we wanted, no matter
the age. We ve tried them together on a stage, doing the old songs, and it worked out so good.
(It was not a secret gig.)
People must understand about this business that sometimes plans
are changed becourse of things not under our controll, and we cant help it.
It happened many times for us in the past, and will happen again,
and then you get bashed becourse it diddn t happened in the way you said...
Then you get a bit restricted.
Somebody said I speaked after 12 years.. and thats odd for me to read.
Im very active with everything and speak a lot of things I know, and try to avoid
things I dont know, especially in public.
True I havent post much here on aceboards (the best, by the way, and I read it frecualently)
But like I said; I dont want to babbel a lot, thats not my style.
Me and Ulf have found the fun in each other again, even though we re
different. We re like a ball with to sides, compleating each other and
fullfilling each other. Its so fun with everything right now!

Ainsi, en l'espace de 48h, les 2 membres fondateurs ont pris la peine de communiquer avec leurs fans, chose qui se faisait plus que rare ces derniers temps. La nouvelle ère semble donc bel et bien commencer !

Hi there all Acers. Sorry that people said sometimes we are in the studio when we were not
the last decade. I guess it was an easier way, for some people that we re not
working with any more, then to say we had different ideas how to go ahead with the band.
Ulf and I have worked together with music in our studio in Stockholm for the last 2
years now, and very hectic the last year. The new album is great, and I hope it will
remain so, like it was on the first album, with as little people messing with
the music as possible! The new girls are Clara and Julia and they are great to work
with in this new lineup of the band. They have the same hair colour as us 3 Berggrens- brown,
and like us they have coloured their hair a bit for the fun of it. No big thing.
Why Im not communicating as much as I perhaps should with you is becourse
I have 2 different sisters, with 2 total different approaches to fame and
how to work in this band, and I dont want to be rude to anyone at all.
Maybe in the future the old lineup could reform, never say never, but
for now it`s this new aob and Im so happy with it.
We will reform how we write the band name so that all old acers can see the difference and dont have
to be in panic. I hope that the most of you are as pleased as I am that we now finally
can release a brand new album this year, and with 2 major companies behind us in the
release of it! This spring , what they have told us, is the first single released.
They have choosen 7 singles, and at the moment thoose
are sent out for feedback round the world. Trying to
figure out single nr 1.

Pour les non-anglophones, j'essaierai de traduire le message au plus vite. Ce que l'on peut retenir, c'est que :
- les deux nouvelles chanteuses s'appellent Clara et Julia ;
- la sortie du premier single est prévue pour ce printemps. Les maisons de disques ont pré-sélectionné sept titres et sont en train de les tester un peu partout dans le monde pour choisir le single 1 ;
- Jonas espère que l'album ne sera pas surproduit par X personnes mais qu'il restera aussi peu retouché que possible, comme à l'époque de "Happy nation". Il semble en tous cas ravi par le résultat actuel !
- Jonas s'excuse également de son manque de communication auprès des fans.
